Fiber Expansion - Phase 2 The scope of work for this Project shall include, but not be limited to: o Install (2) 1.5" conduits orange/blue throughout project as shown in the engineered drawing. o Install 12 AWG trace wire outside the conduit. o Install (18) 30"x48"x36" hand hole as shown in the engineered drawings. o Install (18) Tri-view test stations (Max height 36"). o Install (18) 8' Ground Rods in new HH's. o Install a backbone 144F and 48F laterals as shown in the engineered drawings. o 144F from Tie point at the intersection of Highwood Dr & E Bush Lake Rd south to the new hand hole at W 106th St & E Bush Lake Rd. Continue 144F east to W 106th St & Hampshire Ave S. Continue 144F south to existing Tie point at W Old Shakopee Rd & Hampshire Ave S Leave 100' slack coils attached to the sidewall in each hand hole. o 48F from newly installed hand hole at E Bush Lake Rd & W 86th St to Bloomington Fire #6 on Lakeview Rd. Leave 100' slack coils attached to the sidewall in each hand hole & inside building. o 48F from newly installed hand hole at E Bush Lake Rd & 106th St to Bloomington Fire #5 on E Bush Lake Rd. Leave 100' slack coils attached to the sidewall in each hand hole & inside building. o 48F from newly installed hand hole at W 106th St & Hampshire Ave S to Western Maintenance Facility. Leave 100' slack coils attached to the sidewall in each hand hole & inside building. o Install Building Entrance in Bloomington Fire #6 - Attachment A for details. o Install Building Entrance in Bloomington Fire #5 - Attachment A for details. o Install Building Entrance in Bloomington Western Maintenance Facility - Attachment A for details. A certified check or cashier's check payable to the City of Bloomington, or satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and a licensed surety company must also accompany the Bid in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total Bid to be forfeited as liquidated damages in the event that the bid be accepted and the Bidder fail to enter into a written contract and furnish the required bond within ten (10) days after the award of the contract.
