The project will include the following approximate quantities: 23,000 CY Granular Backfill/Excavation 14,000 TON Class 6 Aggregate Base for Streets 40,200 SY Full Depth Reclamation 33,200 SY Bituminous Pavement Removal 15,600 LF Bituminous Road Pavement Saw & Seal/Joint Adhesive 6,850 GAL Offsite Bituminous Fog Seal 16,600 TON Bituminous Base & Wear Course Mixture 2,200 SY Bituminous Driveway 25,350 LF Concrete Curb and Gutter 3,375 SY Concrete Driveway 30,300 SY Turf Establishment (seed/sod) 59,000 LF Pavement Striping 6,000 LF Storm Sewer Pipe 146 EA Storm Sewer Structures 1,000 LF Sanitary Sewer Service Repair 3,430 LF CIPP Sanitary Sewer Lining 70 EA Adjustment of Storm Sewer & Sanitary Sewer Castings 2,700 LF Water Main Pipe - 6" & 8" DIP (Open Trench) 125 EA Water Main Anodes 1,000 SF Modular Block Retaining Wall. The project is to begin on or about May 27, 2024, and be completed by November 15, 2024. All bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, payable to the City of Maplewood, Minnesota, in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid, conditioned that if the bidder is the successful bidder, they will enter into a contract in accordance with said bid and will furnish such performance bonds as are specified. No bidder may withdraw their bid for at least 90 days after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids, without the consent of the owner. The City of Maplewood reserves the right to reject any or all bids. The City of Maplewood also reserves the right to waive any minor irregularities and deviations; however, any bid which contains a material variance from plans and specifications will be rejected. The project has been designed by Maplewood Public Works, Engineering Division with the assistance of SRF Consulting Group.
