Site work and paving for a road / highway in Economy, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Work on the Base Bid consists of milling existing asphalt, paving hot mix asphalt superpave binder and wearing courses, inlet adjustment, base repair, new asphalt wedge curbs, other related appurtenances, and miscellaneous work on various roads totaling approximately 12.870 feet in length. Alternate bids will also be received for similar work on two roads totaling approximately 3, 100 fee: in length and a basketball/pickleball court (including sports court surfacing) Each Bidder must submit a bid bond or cashiers check as bid security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid amount made payable to Economy Borough. A Performance Bond and a Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the bid amount, and an 18-month Maintenance Bond in the amount of 100% of the Contract amount will be required. Bids may be considered and awarded at a meeting held by Economy Borough Council on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. All Bidders must have PennDOT Prequalification Certificates for the work classifications contemplated by this project. Economy Borough reserves the right to reject any or all bids either in whole or in part, to waive any informalities
