Site work and paving for a civil project in Economy, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.

Work consists of installation of inlets, storm sewer pipe and rip-rap, removal of existing brick base material, milling of existing asphalt, paving hot mix asphalt superpave binder and wearing courses, inlet adjustment, base repair, removal of existing concrete curbs and installation with new asphalt wedge curbs, other appurtenances and miscellaneous work. Each Bidder must submit a bid bond or cashier's check as bid security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid amount made payable to Economy Borough. No bids may be withdrawn within sixty (60) days after the date of opening. All Bidders must have PennDOT Prequalification Certificates for the work classifications contemplated by this project. A Performance Bond and a Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the bid amount, and an 18-month Maintenance Bond in the amount of 100% of the Contract amount will be required. Pennsylvania Prevailing Minimum Wage Rates Will Apply. Economy Borough reserves the right to reject any or all bids either in whole or in part, to waive any informalities, and to alter the scope of work.
