The Wattsburg Area School District seeks proposals for contracted paving of the district campus to be completed between July 26 and August 20,2024. It is the intent of the district to enter into a service agreement with a contractor who will furnish equipment and operators for paving. The District reserves the right to reject any and all bids when it is in the interest of the Wattsburg Area School District and to reject the bid of any bidder who is not in a position to perform the contract. All measurements are the responsibility of the bidder. Area #1 - Campus Patching: 2 areas near Route 8 Entrance, area of drive near south end of soccer field, edge of drive area near drive to bus garage, drive area approaching auxillary parking lot. Approximately 735 square yards total in 5 areas. See smaller Blue Areas on Attached Drawing. Area #2 - Bus Garage Approach Driveway and Lot. Approximately 503 square yards. See Yellow Area on Attached Drawing. Area #3 - Roadway along football field. Approximately 1,472 square yards. See Red Area on Attached Drawing. Area #4 - Auxiliary Parking Lot. Approximately 1,658 square yards. See Green Area on Attached Drawing. Area #5 - High School Parking Lot. Approximately 7,072 square yards. See large Blue Area on Attached Drawing. For Areas 1, 2, and 3: 1. Mill designated areas 2" deep and clean. Material to be hauled away. 2. Supply and apply tack oil coat 3. Supply and place 2.0" of 9.5MM wearing surface over area. 4. Band seal edges and all joints. For Area 4: 1. Prep and clean and mill notch as needed. 2. Supply and apply tack oil coat 3. Supply and place 0.5" leveling course and 1.5" of 9.5MM wearing surface over area. 4. Band seal edges and all joints. For Area 5: 1. Mill designated areas 2" deep and clean. Material to be hauled away. 2. Supply and apply tack oil coat 3. Supply and place 0.5" leveling course and 1.5" of 9.5MM wearing surface over area. 4. Supply and place one (1) new "M" grate and top on one (1) basin 5. Re-grout pipe on basin 6. Band seal edges and all joints. Additional Notes: 1. All work to be completed as per Penn Dot specifications 2. All material testing will be required as per Penn Dot specifications 3. Minimum quality control plan required for field bituminous paving operations (CS-901) must be competed and accepted prior to start of work 4. All MPT of traffic incidental to paving items 5. Contractor responsible for defects that occur within one year of applications
