Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Horton, Kansas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The Project includes the following Work: asphalt surface milling and overlay along with sidewalk curb ramp improvements along N. 6th Street (K-63) from Bertrand Avenue (US-24) to the North City Limits. The Base Bid Project consists of, but is not limited to, the following approximate major quantities of work: Base Bid Item Description Quantity Units Milling 4,151 Sq. Yds. HMA - Commercial Grade (Class A)(Surface Course) 497 Tons HMA - Commercial Grade (Class A)(Patching) 181 Tons Pavement Marking (Multi-Component)(Yellow)(4") 1,674 Lin. Ft. Pavement Marking (Multi-Component)(White)(6") 1,319 Lin. Ft. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis, with additive alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
