Description

Site work and paving for a road / highway in Dewey Humblt, Arizona. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

Work Summary: Dewey-Humboldt seeks chip seal overlay services. The services are required to be completed no later than 45 days from the date of the Town-issued Notice to Proceed. The services are generally described as follows: Spring 2024 Chipseal overlay projects consisting of two separate road areas to bid. AREA 1- Consists of approximately 62,700 square yards of low volume Single Chipseal and fog coat, and approximately 7,390 linear feet of two coats, double yellow striping on various roads. AREA 2- Consists of approximately 6,000 square yards of low volume Single Chipseal and fog coat, and approximately 2,255 linear feet of two coats, double yellow striping on various roads. AREA 2 shall be bid while final acquisition is pending of appropriate easements for that portion of Old Black Canyon Highway identified as the existing chip seal roadway between S. Edd Sand Trail and E. Pale Moon Drive. If acquisition of said easements are not substantially finalized by Wednesday, May 1st, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. the Town Solication for Bids for AREA 2 will be rescinded.
