Quotes (informal bids) shall be accepted from qualified and experienced contractors to furnish all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, supplies, tools, safety measures, and maintenance of traffic required for replacement of broken, cracked or lifted sidewalk sections at various locations in the City of Weston. The work includes, but is not limited to, sawcut, removal and disposal of existing sidewalk, installation of new sidewalk sections Sawcut, remove and dispose of existing concrete sidewalk. Contractor shall verify that existing compacted subgrade and lime rock base meets specifications. Install concrete section as per specification. Proposed cost shall include mobilization, labor, supervision, equipment, tools, materials, overhead, safety measures, and MOT for removal and disposal of concrete sidewalk and installation of new concrete sidewalk sections at various locations in the City of Weston, in accordance with the provisions outlined in this RFIQ 1. Contractors shall have a minimum of five years of experience in work similar to the scope defined above for this project. 2. Contractors shall have been incorporated and in continuous operation for a minimum of the past five years from the date that this bid is issued. 3. Contractors shall be fully licensed with all required State and/or Local government licenses--copies of the licenses shall be provided. The City reserves the right to: 1. Award all or a portion of the services as determined to be in the best interest of the City. 2. Award to one or more than one Contractor as determined to be in the best interest of the City. 3. Reject any or all bids if found not to be in the best interest of the City.
