Site work and paving for a road / highway in Nekoosa, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Place Asphaltic Pavement Wedge and Overlay. The Town of Rome reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities in bidding and to accept the bid deemed most advantageous to the Town of Rome. The work under this contract shall consist of asphaltic pavement wedge to correct cross slope and low areas Then a full width, 2-1/2" inch asphaltic pavement overlay placed starting at West Queens Way and going to termini of Canterbury Court. An asphalt curb needs to be placed on both sides of the road going down the hill. Shoulders will be placed using recycled asphalt pavement. All work and material shall be done by Wisconsin DOT Standards. Contractor is responsible for traffic control. Project Limits: Canterbury Court from West Queens Way to termini. Town of Rome Public Works staff will remove areas of severe settling and fill with road base. Staff will also remove broken up asphalt in cul de sac and replace with road base. Contractor is to give Town of Rome two week notice prior to starting work to allow staff to complete these items.
