**As of May 29, 2024, all bids have been rejected by owner due to bids being over budget. Each sealed enclosure containing a bid is to be endorsed on the outside with the name, address and telephone number of the bidder and is to state that it contains a bid for the Village of Scotia - Renovations to Municipal Facility including the specific contract being bid. Question Deadline 04/17/2024 at 5:00 PM ET All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents are to be posed by email only and shall be submitted to the Architect at albanyoffice@h2m.com. In order to be given consideration, questions must be received, NO QUESTIONS WILL BE ANSWERED BY PHONE Bids must be made on the standard proposal form in the manner designated therein and as required by the specifications bids must be enclosed in sealed envelopes bearing the name of the job and name and address of the bidder on the outside, addressed to "The Village of Scotia" The Owner is not responsible for bids opened prior to the bid opening if bid name and opening date do not appear on the envelope. Bids opened prior to date and time indicated are invalid. The bidder assumes the risk of any delay in the mail, or in the handling of the mail by employees of the Village, as well as of improper hand delivery. The Village of Scotia reserves the right to reject any and all bids, re-advertise for new bids, and waive minor irregularities in bidding and to accept the bid that is best suited for the Owner.
