Site work and paving for a road / highway in Burlington, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
This resurfacing project consists of a 2-inch structural overlay of N. Section St, Gardner Rd, and Gilkey Ave. Construction includes but is not limited to: 2,700 tons of Hot mix asphalt;grinding; pavement markings; traffic signal loops;erosion/water pollution control measures and traffic control. The Engineer's estimate is $700,000. Bond Notes: All Bid Proposals shall be accompanied by a Bid Proposal deposit in cash,certified check, cashier's check, or Surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such Bid Proposal. Should the successful Bidder fail to enter into such Contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the Specifications, the Bid Proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the City of Burlington. Owner Rights: The City of Burlington reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive irregularities in the Bid or in the Bid opening.No Bidder may withdraw their Proposal after the hours set for the opening thereof, or before Award of Contract, unless said Award is delayed for a period exceeding sixty (60)days
