Construction will begin fall 2026. *Previous solicitation listed below for reference:* City of Fife Request for Qualifications for Design Associated with 20th Street E Multimodal Improvements The City of Fife is soliciting statements of qualifications from professional engineering firms interested in providing engineering design services and obtaining required environmental permits for the City of Fife 20th Street E Multimodal Improvements project. This work will be approximately 18 months in duration with the option for the City of Fife to extend it for additional time and money, if necessary. Consultants may be considered for subsequent phases of work associated with this project. The consultant's work will consist of preparing engineering design for improvements on 20th Street E from the 5500 block to 62nd Avenue E. The project will reconstruct and widen the road to a 3-lane section with curbs, sidewalks on the north side, shared use path on the south side, and utility improvements. ADA facility improvements will be included. The city encourages disadvantaged, minority, and women-owned consultant firms to respond. The City reserves the right to not award any contract. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
