NC State University, Environmental Health and Safety (hereafter referred to as University) seeks proposals from qualified contractors to provide operation and maintenance of the Superfund, Lot 86, groundwater treatment and soil vapor extraction systems, quarterly measurement of the potentiometric surface with updated modeling, and annual groundwater sampling. The University operates groundwater remediation and soil vapor extraction systems at the Lot 86 Superfund site, located on the Carter Finley Stadium property in Raleigh, North Carolina. The University operates the system to meet its obligations under the October 1998 Consent Decree and in compliance with the City of Raleigh Industrial Users Permit WOLFFIN. Any contract resulting from this proposal will be effective from time of award for a period of one (1) year, beginning August 1, 2024. All prices offered herein will be firm. The University reserves the option and right, under the same terms and conditions contained herein, to renew for two (2) additional one-year periods, not to exceed a total contract period of three (3) years. Price increases (if applicable) for the two (2) additional one (1) year periods will be submitted no less than six (6) months prior to the expiration of the current contract year. Any work considered out of the scope of the contract will be approved by the University Project Manager prior to performance.
