Renovation of a water / sewer project in Raleigh, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
Installation of inclined settling plates in the North and South Clarifiers. o Installation of sludge collection equipment and associated sludge piping in both the North and South Clarifiers. o All supervision, labor, materials, equipment, tools, incidentals and related items required for construction of the project as shown in the plans and included in the specifications. o Installation of two submersible pumps and associated appurtenances, discharge piping, and modifications as shown in the plans and included in the specifications Notice to Proceed - Anticipated August 2024 d. Substantial Completion - 400 calendar days after NTP e. Final Completion - 430 calendar days after NTP f. Liquidated Damages - $1,000 per day for Substantial Completion and Final Completion Bid Security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid must accompany each Bid and shall be subject to the conditions provided in the Instruction to Bidders. Furthermore, the City's goal is to contract or sub-contract fifteen percent (15%) of the contract amount to certified MWBEs on construction projects over $300,000, or with contracts that include $100,000 or more in state funding.
