DFCM Division Facilities and Construction and Managment 72120 Nonresidential building construction services including commercial and office building new construction services and construction services and renovation and repair services. Weber State University would like to modernize the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in the building to extend the life of the building for another 30 years. This includes compliance with the University's Master Plan of electrification using hybrid variable refrigerant volume systems (VRF) where applicable to reduce site emissions. This project will combine four fan rooms into two to serve the arena, convert ancillary spaces to VRF, replace plumbing, fire protection, lighting and electrical throughout the building. The University would also like to convert two of the four existing fan rooms into lounges or similar high-value spaces. Additionally, a ground source borefield is expected to be installed as part of the project. Construction Cost Estimate: $18,500,000.00 DFCM is entering into a Multi-Step Bidding Process for Construction Services. A short-listing of Contractors will be based on the evaluation of proposals submitted and the selection criteria outlined in the solicitation documents contained herein. Short-listed Contractors will be invited to submit bids on the project. The only Contractors allowed to bid on this project will be Contractors short-listed by the selection committee. All Contractors responding to this procurement must comply with and require all their Subcontractors to comply with the license laws as required by the State of Utah.
