A Description of the Project is as Follows: Scope of Work: The Work for This Project Consists of, but is Not Limited to, Demolition and Replacement of Above-grade Suction and Discharge Piping, Valves, Meters, Appurtenances, Electrical Drives, and Associated Ancillary Accessories for the Caustic Soda Feed Systems Within the Pump Room; Demolition and Replacement of Above-grade Piping, Valves, and Appurtenances at the Caustic Soda Bulk Tanks; Demolition and Replacement of Existing Caustic Soda Concrete Pump Pedestals; Floor Repair and Recoating Within the Caustic Room for New Concrete Pump Pedestals and Areas Affected by Demolition Work; Demolition and Replacement of Cw-1 Concentrate Above-grade Piping; Replacement of the Cw-1 Concentrate Flow Meter; Replacement of Membrane Elements for Train 1; Recoating of the Existing Deep Injection Well (Diw) System Surge Tank; and Replacement of the Wtps Two Influent Venturi Flow Meters. The Work Shall Include the Repair and Reconstruction of Existing Improvements Affected by the Work, and Incidentals for Complete and Usable Facility. All Work Shall Be Constructed in Accordance With the Bid Documents. Location: The Work is Located at the Sawgrass Water Treatment Plant, Located at 777 Sawgrass Corporate Parkway, Sunrise, Fl 33325 Qualification Requirement: The Contractor Shall Have a Florida Certified General Contractors License. The Contractor Must Have Successfully Completed on 3 Projects of Similar Type, Size and Complexity Over the Past 5 Years and Provide Verifiable References for These Projects. The City Shall Be the Sole and Final Judge in Determining if the Contractor Meets the Qualification Requirement.
