The successful contractor is to provide all labor, equipment, tools, materials, and supplies required for the replacement of the existing two storm water pumps. All work is to be in accordance with these documents and references contained in this scope of work. The work to be accomplished under this scope of work is located at the House of Delegates Building, 6 Bladen St., Annapolis, MD 21401. Please see the Project Manual for all details. Description of Work: 1. Remove and replace four (4) submersible sump pump systems in kind. 2. The contractor is to correctly size the new pumps and take into consideration head height, gallons per hour, motor sizing, power requirements, etc., and any other aspect in relation to the requirements for the existing conditions. 3. Remove and install new submersible sump pump system controls, float switches, disconnect switches, electrical boxes, alarms, conduits, relays, transformers, contactors, breakers, panels, wiring etc. with new electrical components for a complete and operating system, up to the existing point of power. 4. Pumps are to be manufactured by Gould, Zoeller, Bell & Gossett, or approved equal. 5. Each pump is to have its own float switch. 6. Pumps are to be reversible. 7. Provide the installation of all components necessary, including but not limited to, all hardware, software, programming and / or the reconfiguring of the existing software as necessary, to make the duplex pump system status monitoring at the pump site location and at the remote monitoring location, fully functional.
