The City of Issaquah Public Works Department intends to procure engineering consultant services to perform an engineering study to evaluate the condition of the existing pervious pavements (including roadways, parking lots, and sidewalks) on City right of way and within City parks properties, and provide recommendations to address issues found in the study. The goal is to develop a list of recommended improvement alternatives for the City to consider, and develop best practices for the City to maintain and preserve pervious pavements within the City. This will a two-phased project. The first phase (Phase I) includes completing the evaluation study, identifying list of recommended improvements, selection of alternative(s), preliminary design of selected alternative(s) as well as best practices for City's consideration. The second phase (Phase II) will advance the preliminary design to final design and assist with permitting and stakeholder engagement and communication. A professional service contract will be executed for Phase I and subsequently amended to include the Phase II work. The City of Issaquah reserves the right to retain the services of the successful firm(s) for any subsequent phases associated with this Plan.
