All work described under the terms of this contract shall be completed within 30 working days following the date of commencement. This work shall include, but is not limited to: Labor and general equipment needed to install City signal detection equipment listed below: o Within 9 intersections (locations shown within bid documents), install: o Five (5) Wavetronix Smart Sensor Advance Extended Range (SS-200E) with 6 inch mount and Bracket o Twenty-Four (24) Wavetronix Smart Sensor Matrix (SS-225) with 6 inch mount and Bracket o Field wiring - 8 conductor homerun cable o Field wiring - 200v Matrix 6 conductor with connector cable o Junction Box - Mini 710 junction box with terminal blocks o Provide all traffic control in compliance with MUTCD. o Contractor to provide banding and other hardware necessary for proper installation. NOTE: o The City of Issaquah will provide all the applicable detection equipment for installation. o Controller programmed and installed by City of Issaquah Signal Technicians. o Sensor locations determined in field with City of Issaquah Signal Technicians direction. We reserve the right to waive any irregularities or informalities and to reject any or all bids and to award this Contract to a single bidder based on the lowest responsible bid for the collective total of the schedule. Proposals shall be on forms included in the contract documents and shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond (with an authorized surety company as surety), made payable to the City of Issaquah, in an amount not less than 5% of the amount of the bid. No bidder may withdraw their bid after the time announced for the opening, or before the award and execution of the contract, unless the award is delayed for a period exceeding sixty-five (65) days. Bidders must comply with all applicable governmental requirements including but not limited to, affirmative action programs and other equal opportunity actions as explained in the specifications.
