Demolition, site work and renovation of an educational facility in Lockport, Illinois. Completed plans call for the demolition of a educational facility; for the renovation of a educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
The project includes, but is not limited to, the following: the demolition and replacement of existing plaster ceiling assemblies with acoustic lay-in ceiling grid assemblies including select electrical, mechanical, and structural repair work. Each Bid Must Be Accompanied by a Bid Guarantee That Shall Be Not Less Than 10 Percent of the Amount of the Base Bid. Contractors Shall Not Pay Less Than the Will County Prevailing Rates of Wages to All Laborers, Workmen, and Mechanics Performing Work Under This Contract, and Shall Comply With the Requirements of the Illinois Wages of Employees on Public Works Act (820 Ilcs 130/1-12). The Owner Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bids, to Waive Irregularities in the Bidding Procedure, or Accept the Bid That, in Its Opinion, Will Serve the Best Interest of the Owner. Any Such Decision Shall Be Considered Final. The Owner Reserves the Right to Set Aside a Bid From a Contractor Who, in the Owner's Opinion, Does Not Exhibit Past Experience Equal to the Size and Scope of This Project.
