Description: Base Bid Description: This project will design and construct an upgrade to the perimeter security fencing at the Southern Desert Correctional Center (SDCC). The scope of work will include installation of a lethal/non-lethal electrified fence. Contract Time: 144 calendar days. Liquidated Damages: $2,160.00 per day. Prevailing Wages must be paid on this project. Additional Description: Every person planning to attend the pre-bid meeting must obtain a security clearance in order to enter prison property. All attendees must complete and submit the 'NDOC Contractor Background Check Application' and the 'NDOC Security Regulations Acknowledgment Form' a minimum of 7 days prior to the pre-bid meeting date. See Supplemental Instructions to Bidders for security clearance details.
