Site work and paving for a road / highway in Burlington, Kansas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The Board of County Commissioners of Coffey County, Kansas, will accept sealed bids for Project No. A2403-C, Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) Paving Surface Improvement Project. The project consists of approximately 0.5 miles of 2" Hot Mix (24' width) Overlay in 2 lifts, 1" Leveling Course and 1" Overlay on 6th St. - Housatonic St. to Kelley St. & 10th Place - 6th St to 75 Hwy. Each bidder is required to include with their proposal a Bid Bond or Cashier's Check in the amount of 5% of the bid, as Bid Security. The Bid Security will be forfeited if the successful bidder fails to execute and deliver the agreement, payment and performance bonds within ten (10) days of Notice of Award. The Board of County Commissions of Coffey County, Kansas reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and the right to waive any or all informalities or irregularities therein.
