The Town of Pittston is seeking quotes for the ground care services for the Pittston Town Office, Central Fire Station, and Recycling Bins during the 2024 season, with services to begin May 1 and conclude on October 31, 2024. CONTRACT REQUIREMENTS. Spring Cleanup: Removal of lawn debris prior to mowing Replacing and resetting of border stone Mowing as needed Weed removal (including around generators, propane tanks, and recycling bins) Weeding flower beds Spot herbicide application as needed in rock area between the walkway and the building Removal of roadside debris Raking of leaves at the end of the summer season Cut/remove saplings down to ground level QUOTE PRICE: ___________ (Note: Awarded contractor will be paid in three equal payments following the first Wednesday after June 1, August 1, and November 1.) Upon contract award, the winning contractor is required to provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI) listing the Town of Pittston as additionally insured and contract coverage date for General Liability, Auto, and Workman's Compensation (or an approved application for "Predetermination of Independent Status to Establish a Rebuttable Presumption" for Independent Contractors).
