Renovation of a multi-residential development in Ayer, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
The Project consists of but not limited to: Removal and replacement of asphalt shingle roofings systems, gutters & downspouts for two (2) buildings on one site. Building A is Base Bid scope of work. Building B is Additive Alternate No. 01 scope of work. Request for waivers must be sent to EOHLC (david. mcclave@mass.gov) 5 calendar days prior to the General Bid date. NO WAIVERS WILL BE GRANTED AFTER THE GENERAL BIDS ARE OPENED. General bids and sub-bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit that is not less than five (5%) of the greatest possible bid amount (including all alternates) and made payable to the AYER HOUSING AUTHORITY. The combined participation benchmark reserved for such enterprises shall not be less than 13% of the final contract price including accepted alternates. The general scope of work consists of a new asphalt shingle roofing system including but not limited to asphalt roof shingles, synthetic underlayment, self-adhered membrane underlayment, aluminum drip edge, and other sheet metal flashings, ridge vents, starter strips, nails and other fasteners, and plastic cement and other items required for a complete watertight installation.
