Site work for a civil project in Ayer, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
As of June 25, 2024, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The base bid includes the replacement of 16 Fire hydrants in the Town of Ayer Water Distribution System at various locations throughout Town. The replacements may require cutting in of water main tees, new valves, replacement of hydrants with new hydrants and site restoration. The bid alternate includes the abandonment of the 6" Cast Iron Water Main on West Main St. The abandonment may require transferring of water services, a hydrant, and an interconnection with another street from the 6" Cast Iron Water Main to the 12" AC Water Main. Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. Question Deadline 06/14/2024 Submit written request for clarification and interpretation to the Town of Ayer DPW Water and Sewer Superintendent by email at kabraham@ayer.ma.us. Time Required: Requests for clarifications and interpretations must be received by the Town of Ayer DPW Water and Sewer Superintendent at least five working days [Saturdays, Sundays, Holidays excluded] prior to the date bids are due.
