The Project generally involves improvements to the capacity of the City's sanitary sewer system by upsizing approximately 866 LF of existing 8-inch diameter VCP sewer main to 14-inch diameter HDPE sewer main and installing approximately 1,019 LF of new 14-inch diameter HDPE sewer main along Coleman Road between Sentinel St & Redmond Ave. This project will also abandon 1,239 LF of existing VCP sewer main, construct 4 new sanitary sewer manholes, and remove and replace 6 sanitary sewer manholes. The securities shall be in an amount equivalent to the retention to be released. This project is subject to the Project Labor Agreement ("PLA") entered between the City of San Jose and the Santa Clara and San Benito Counties Building & Construction Trades Council, as may be amended from time to time. The awarded Bidder will be required to agree to the terms of the agreement by signing Addendum A - Agreement to be Bound, of the PLA agreement, and submit at the time the contract is executed.
