Snow Creek Bridge Reconstruction Project BID PROPOSAL GUARANTY: Each Bid Proposal must be accompanied by cash, cashier's check, certified check or by a bid bond in the amount of ten percent of the bid price payable to the City of Walnut as a guarantee that the bidder, if his bid proposal is accepted, will promptly execute the contract, secure payment of Worker's Compensation Insurance, furnish a satisfactory Faithful Performance Bond in the amount of 100 percent of the total base bid price, and a Labor and Material Bond in the amount of 100 percent of the total base bid price The AGENCY reserves the right to reject any and all bid proposals, to waive any irregularity, and to take all Bid Proposals under advisement for a period of sixty days. TIME OF COMPLETION AND LIQUIDATED DAMAGES: BIDDER must agree to commence work on or before the date of the written "Notice to Proceed" of the AGENCY and to fully complete all work to the satisfaction of the Engineer within sixty (60) working days. These improvements for various projects shall consist of median extension, pavement repairs, retaining block wall, concrete surfaces, curb, bus shelter, handrail installation and guardrail repairs in accordance with contract documents and specifications, project plans and these Special Provisions.
