The Mt. San Antonio Community College District (District) is seeking Qualifications Packages from qualified architects or architectural firms (Firm) for related services for a planned Capital Construction and Renovation Program (Program). The District desires to engage one or more firms to provide a complete range of architectural design services to support its Program. It is essential for the firms selected to recognize the need to preserve the collegial and participative culture of the community college environment while effectively and efficiently completing projects. It is critical that the firm can successfully blend the authority delegated to the firm by the District with the District's non-delegable responsibilities and/or those delegated by the District to its other partners to form a constructive and effective working relationship. This Request for Qualifications (RFQ) describes the Program, scope of services, consultant selection process, and minimum information that must be included in the qualification package. This RFQ will request each Firm to concisely state its qualifications for participating in a constructive and effective partnership. The District is interested in considering Qualifications from firms that meet or exceed the following minimum acceptable qualifications: Demonstrated performance of Architectural services on major capital construction projects for higher education clients in the "Project Size" category or categories selected by the Firm in Section 7. Vendor Questionnaire. Minimum ten (10) years experience as an Architectural firm. Established firm presence in California, including familiarity with the California Community Colleges Systems Office procedures for Capital Construction and processing of plans through the Division of State Architect. Appropriate professional licensing of key architects. Questions and inquiries concerning this RFQ must be made in writing and submitted via the District's eProcurement Portal Q & A feature. The deadline to submit a request for information or clarification is Monday, July 1, 2024 before 2:00 pm.
