DESCRIPTION: The Sanitation Districts are seeking proposals from qualified consulting firms to assess the hydrogeologic conditions of the Kirst Cut area at the Spadra Landfill in Walnut, CA (SPLF, site) and provide technical recommendations to protect the downgradient groundwater quality. The Kirst Cut, one of SPLF's two major fill areas, has seen increases in certain constituents at downgradient monitoring well M29B.
