Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Walnut, California. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
Bid was rejected. No plans to rebid. Green Street Project. The work to be done consists of furnishing all materials, equipment, tools, labor, and incidentals as required by the Plans, Specifications, and contract documents If you have any questions regarding the project, please contact City Engineer Dave Gilbertson at (909) 594-9702. All Bid Items shall be in accordance with the Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction, Latest Edition including supplements, the Special Provisions and General Conditions of these Specifications, and the State of California Department of Transportation Standard Specifications, Latest Edition, Mobilization, Clearing and Grubbing Bid Item No. 1 All clearing and grubbing shall conform to the provisions in Section 300-1, Clearing and Grubbing of the Standard Specifications. This Bid Item shall include, but not be limited to, procurement and mobilization of all construction equipment, personnel, construction office, approved construction staging area, and preparation of existing ground within the project area. Brush and other organic matter shall be removed from the area of the proposed improvements and from any area where soils or construction materials will be stockpiled.
