Renovation of a mixed-use development in Winchester, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
Questions: All inquiries and technical questions or comments related to this solicitation shall be directed to Mark Kinder, Maintenance Supervisor, no later than 2:00 p.m. on 4/10/24. All questions shall be submitted in writing (email is preferred). Telephone inquiries will not be accepted. Project Overview: Northwestern Regional Adult Detention Center is accepting bids to remove an existing Champion model 66DRPWLR dishwasher and replace it with the same make and model. to remove and replace a Champion model 66DRPWLR dishwasher. The dishwasher must be the same type as the one being removed in order to properly attach to the entry' and exit runways, exhaust ducting, and plumbing requirements. The removal will consist of disconnect and disposal of the old dishwasher. Installation of the new unit shall be turnkey; ah electrical, plumbing, and connecting of the unit to runways. The new unit is to be acceptable to detergent solution hook-ups. The work area is to be left clean and the new dishwasher shall be fully operational upon installation. Work will be done in the secure area ofthe Jail. Any contractor/'employees needing access to perform the removal/installation will need to have a background check to enter that area.
