Renovation of an educational facility in Quincy, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
General contractor bids will be received for the following projects: Base Bid - Masonry Repairs at North Campus Building "A" - Architechnics, Inc Project a. Work consists of: 1) Repairs, tuckpointing, cleaning and sealing of existing masonry. New expansion joints and sealants are also part of the project. b. All work can begin May 13, 2024. All work must be substantially completed by August 9, 2024. c. Liquidated damages do not apply to this project. Business Enterprise for Minorities, Women, and Persons with Disabilities Act (BEP). For this project - Grantee agrees to endeavor to meet a goal of at least 20 percent of the grant funds being awarded to minority and woman owned businesses, with at least 13 percent being awarded to businesses owned by minority persons or persons with disabilities and at least 7 percent being awarded to woman owned businesses. Grantee agrees to coordinate the meeting of these goals and to provide documentation of its good faith efforts to meet those percentages in the event that the goals are not met. Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 10 percent of the bid amount FOR EACH BID OFFERED. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities.
