The City of Charlotte will receive sealed bids for tub grinding and removal of leaf and brush piles at the City Garage. The volume of material is approximately 4,000 cubic yards. Bids shall be a lump sum cost including transportation, setup, all equipment, labor and fuel to complete the work in a safe manner. Contractor is required to dispose of the material in a manner acceptable to the Department of Great Lakes and Energy (EGLE). Inspection of the material prior to bids is highly recommended. For questions regarding the bid, or to set up an appointment for inspection, contact the Department of Public Works Office by calling 517-543-8858. Bids can be mailed, placed in one of the City drop boxes located at City Hall, or emailed to the City Clerk at mlarocque@charlottemi.org. Mark plainly on the outside of the envelope "Brush Grinding Bids". The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waiver any defects in the bids.
