Site work and paving for a road / highway in Casco, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Work is more particularly described as 15,500 square yards of pavement removal, 4,500 square yards of cold milling, 15,000 square yards of rubblizing concrete, 5,300 Tons of asphalt, 1,900 tons of aggregate base and 900 tons of shoulder aggregate with pavement markings, monument boxes, and miscellaneous items. This work shall be in accordance with the current Michigan Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for Construction, Standard Plans and Supplemental Specifications. The SCCRC, in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 78 Stat. 252, 42 USC 2000d to 2000d-4 and Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department of Federally-assisted programs of the Department of Transportation issued pursuant to such Act, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, minority business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of gender, disability, race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, waive irregularities in any bid and make award in any manner deemed in the best interest of the County.
