The City is currently working through the 30% design and construction documents phase. The City desires to immediately retain the services of a qualified construction management team to participate in the completion of the design process and provide ongoing review regarding constructability and costs as well as providing assistance to the City for contractor pre-qualification and construction management inspection services to deliver the completed project. The Recreation and Parks Department is soliciting a Request for Qualifications - Proposal (RFQ-P) from experienced Construction Management Firms (with a proven track record by both the firm and the individuals to be assigned to the project) to provide comprehensive construction management, including constructability review (and cost review) during the design process, assist City with prequalifying construction contractors, and construction management/inspection of the construction contract for the proposed revitalization of The Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Community Center and Park located at 1000 S Owens St, Bakersfield, CA 93307. The successful firm will have experience in participating in the design process, preconstruction support and construction management for recreational facilities and public parks. All final questions must be submitted by May 1, 2024; 4 pm
