The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to solicit Proposals from qualified Contractors to provide leachate hauling and/or leachate system maintenance services for the Bedford County Sanitary Landfill Permit #560 located approximately 7 miles south of the Town of Bedford on Rt. 43, and Landfill Permit #30 located about 1 mile south of the Town of Bedford on Rt 714. The initial period of this contract shall be from June 1, 2024, to May 31, 2029. The contract may be renewed by the Owner upon written agreement of both parties for a subsequent period of five (5) years under the terms of the original contract except as mutually agreed. Proposals received after the above-stated date and time will be rejected. Bedford County reserves the right to reject any and all proposals.
