For questions pertaining to this AHERA Triennial Asbestos Operations & Maintenance Plan inspection/update please contact Mr. W. Chris Nixon, Vice President / Director of Environmental Services - Hurt & Proffitt, Inc. at 434.847.7796. Project consists of removing existing VCT flooring in the areas identified in the Contract Documents, abating any asbestos containing materials associated with that flooring, and installing new VCT flooring in those areas. Bidders shall begin the Work on receipt of the Notice to Proceed and shall complete the Work within the Contract Time. Work is subject to liquidated damages. 3. Notice of Award: March 15, 2024 4. Construction Commencement: May 30, 2024 5. Final Completion: July 31, 2024 A. Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. A Performance Bond, a separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder.
