Renovation of a municipal facility in Bedford, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The purpose and intent of this Invitation for Bid is to establish a firm fixed price contract with one qualified Contractor(s) to safely prepare and re-paint existing wood siding and wood trim on the Bedford County Courthouse Bell Tower. This solicitation is issued by the Bedford County Department of Public Works on behalf of the Bedford County Board of Supervisors, a political subdivision of the Commonwealth of Virginia, herein referred to collectively for convenience as "Owner". Place of Performance: Bedford County Courthouse, 123 E. Main Street, Bedford, VA 24523 Period of Contract: within 75 days of notice to proceed. If You Need Any Reasonable Accomodation for Any Type of Disability in Order to Participate in This Procurement, Please Contact This Division as Soon as Possible. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any informality in proposals received whenever such rejection or waiver is in the best interest of the Owner. Award may be made to as many offerors as deemed necessary to fulfill the anticipated requirements of the Owner. The Purchasing Agent also reserves the right to reject the proposal if an Offeror is deemed to be a non-responsible Offeror.
