Renovation of an educational facility in Cheraw, South Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The project involves conducting roof repairs at Cheraw Primary School located at 321 High Street, Cheraw SC 29520. The repairs are essential to ensure the structural integrity and longevity of the school building. scope of work: a. Roof Repairs: - Remove existing roof or roofs to the light weight concrete deck. - Install one ply on the base sheet fastened to the light weight concrete deck. - Install a base layer of 2" ISO board and a 1/4" dens deck cover board. All layers must be adhered with foam adhesive. - Over the tapered insulation and cover board, install a PVC single ply roof membrane. Material must be adhered with PVC bonding adhesive. - Install 30-year Kynar coated metal finished on sheet metal fabricated gutters, downspouts and counter flashing. - Contract warranty shall be a minimum of two (2) years. - Manufacturer's warranty shall be a minimum of twenty (20) years. - Refer to sketch drawings included at Attachment 2. b. Compliance: Ensure that all work performed complies with the relevant building codes and regulations of the State of South Carolina. c. Cleanup: Remove debris and materials resulting from the repair process from the premises upon completion of the project. The Chesterfield County School District is seeking bids from qualified sources for Roof Repairs at Cheraw Primary School.
