Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a mixed-use development in New Castle, Delaware. Completed plans call for the addition of a 6,100-square-foot, one-story above grade transportation facility; for the demolition of a transportation facility; for the renovation of a transportation facility; and for site work for a transportation facility.

The Base Bid Work generally consists of, but is not limited to, site preparation, stormwater mitigation and relocation, utility relocation, construction of an approximately 6,100 SF building addition to the existing ILG terminal hold room, installation of new security fencing, and expansion and renovations of both secure and nonsecure restrooms. The Additive Alternate No. 1 work generally includes, but is not limited to, demolition and construction of a baggage conveyor system and an exterior canopy for the baggage conveyor system. This project is located at Wilmington Airport (ILG), 151 N. Dupont Highway, New Castle, Delaware and consists of a Base Bid and one Additive Alternate, which may be awarded at the sole discretion of the Authority. The Base Bid Work generally consists of, but is not limited to, site preparation, stormwater mitigation and relocation, utility relocation, construction of an approximately 6,100 SF building addition to the existing ILG terminal hold room, installation of new security fencing, and expansion and renovations of both secure and nonsecure restrooms. The Additive Alternate No. 1 work generally includes, but is not limited to, demolition and construction of a baggage conveyor system and an exterior canopy for the baggage conveyor system. The Contractor is responsible for all required construction permits for the project from prior to construction through issuance of a Certificate of Occupancy, including but not limited to, coordinating all necessary permits, and all fees for all building construction permits required for this project. The Contractor shall request hard copy plans for permitting from the design engineer (the bid set of plans) a minimum of ten (10) business days prior to needing them and the Engineer will send them to the Contractor via mail.
