I-75 Lockland Split & Paxton Avenue Sewer Rehabilitation. Scope of Work Paxton Avenue Sewer Rehabilitation: This project will line 1,140 LF of sewer -1,086 feet of 84" reinforced concrete arch and 54 feet of 84" x 108" rectangular reinforced concrete pipe with 1.5" of spray-on geopolymer. The planning for this project is completed, and Business Case Evaluation (BCE) can be found on the City's Bonfire website portal (refer to the link below). I-75 Lockland Split Sewer Rehabilitation: This project will be evaluating MSD sewers that are or will be impacted by Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) project. Question Deadline 04/30/2024 Direct questions or information requests related to this RFQ to: msd.procurement@cincinnati-oh.gov This project will evaluate, plan and design the following: o Rehabilitate existing high and extreme risk sewers along 2.7 miles of I-75. Most of these sewers are large diameter sewers with capacity limitations, which will have to be considered in planning and design. o Expected relocation of CSO 226 and sewer in southbound (SB) I-75. Relocation of the sewers from under I-75 may require trenchless installation of a sewer under I-75 and an active railroad. This project will be coordinated with the ODOT project and ODOT schedule. Some work will be performed by ODOT. A general outline of the work required is provided in this RFQ. It is not intended to be all-inclusive, as a detailed scope of work will be developed during negotiations with the selected Offeror. It is anticipated that professional engineering and related consulting services shall be provided to support the referenced project during the planning, design, and construction phases. The anticipated term of the contract resulting from this RFQ is five (5) years with two (2) one-year extensions. Services to be provided in the planning phase may include, but are not limited to, preparation of a Business Case Evaluation (BCE) that includes development and evaluation of alternatives and recommends an alternative that addressesthe project needs. It must evaluate the existing sewer segments and address the sewer segments that are listed as at-risk and sewer segments that are structurally deficient. Planning services may also include, but are not limited to, project management, data collection and review, modeling, hydrologic evaluation, risk assessment, evaluation of potential real property impacts and easement requirements, development of an opinion of probable construction cost of the proposed alternatives and recommendation, environmental and ecological services, flow monitoring, CCTV inspections, subsurface utility investigations, geotechnical investigations and report, and topographic surveying services dependent upon the development and needs of the BCE. Services to be provided in the design phase may include, but are not limited to, project management, public relations/community outreach, interagency coordination, permit coordination and preparation, condition and risk assessment, hydraulic/hydrologic evaluation or modeling, cost estimating, environmental site assessment, geotechnical, survey, subsurface utility investigations, CCTV inspections, evaluation of potential real property impacts, easement requirements, titles and appraisals, and completion of all design and bidding related documentation. The selected Offeror shall provide all engineering and other related professional services to prepare construction plans and details, specifications, easement documents, and opinion of probable construction cost of the proposed improvements. Services to be provided in the construction phase may include, but are not limited to, construction administration, material testing, field engineering, and post-construction monitoring. Note: All finished products and documents shall be the sole property of MSDGC.
