The Contractor shall perform all of the services and furnish all the material necessary to conduct the lead abatement described in this Contract for the aforesaid premises. The Hamilton County Public Health Lead Hazard Reduction Grant Program All inquiries regarding this ITB/RFP are to be e-mailed to: Jill Williams Q & A deadline: Apr 02, 2024 12:00:00 PM EDT Contract duration: 6 months Owner Rights: : In case the Contractor fails to furnish materials or execute work in accordance with the provision of this contract, or fails to proceed with or complete the work within the time limit specified in this Contract, or if the provisions of the Contract are otherwise violated by the Contractor, then in any case upon ten (10) days' written notice to the Contractor, HCPH in conjunction with the Owner(s), shall have the right to declare the Contractor in default in the performance of his/her obligations under the Contract. Said notice shall contain the reason for the HCPH's intent to declare Contractor at fault and unless within ten (10) days after service of said notice, the violation shall cease or satisfactory arrangements shall be made for its correction, or the Contractor fails to provide HCPH with a written request for a hearing as provided for in Section 12, the Contractor, by written notice, may be declared in default and their right to continue under the Contract terminated. In the event the Contractor is thus declared to be in default, HCPH in conjunction with the Owner(s), will proceed to have the work completed, shall subtract the cost of having the work completed from any money due the Contractor under the Contract, and the Contractor shall be responsible for any damages or additional costs resulting to HCPH or the Owner(s) by reasons of said default.
