Renovation of a mixed-use development in Stratford, Prince Edward Island. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.

The Town of Stratford is now accepting proposals for the selection of a design/build firm to provide design and construction services for two (2) new photovoltaic solar arrays. One array is to be placed on the roof of the Town of Stratford Emergency Services Center at 4 Georgetown Road, and the second array is to be placed on the roof of the Town of Stratford maintenance building at 21 Hollis Avenue. The building locations and orthographic images of each building are contained in Appendices A and B. The Town of Stratford is seeking to engage the services of a qualified Design Build firm or team to provide professional services for the preliminary design, final design, and construction of two (2) complete turn-key PV solar array systems, including all labour, materials, incidentals and appurtenances. The proponent's proposal shall include all design, labour, and materials to complete the connections of the PV solar array systems to the buildings' electrical systems and the Maritime Electric Company Limited (MECL) distribution system. One array is to be placed on the roof of the Town of Stratford Emergency Services Center at 4 Georgetown Road, and the second array is to be placed on the roof of the Town of Stratford maintenance building at 21 Hollis Avenue. The building locations, orthographic images, and historical MECL bills of each building are contained in Appendices A and B. The Contractor shall be responsible for the design, supply and installation of all materials required to construct the proposed works. The Contractor shall be responsible for all site works and location of existing systems required for the connection of the PV solar array systems. It is the Contractor's responsibility to coordinate all sub-trades and ensure all subcontractors carry valid insurance. The Contractor shall maintain a tidy work area and shall be responsible for the removal of all waste, tools, and equipment at the completion of the work, and shall maintain a tidy work area throughout the duration of the work.
