The Government intends to award a single firm fixed-price contract for services, non-personal, to provide all plant, labor, transportation, materials, tools, equipment, appliances and supervision demolish 30,000 sqft of office space. The scope of this work shall involve the removal of nearly 38,000 sqft of mold contaminated walls, partitions, and drywall; the removal of almost 10,000 sqft of mold contaminated suspended ceiling tiles; and the removal of approximately 10,000 sqft of mold contaminated carpet. The contractor shall also perform mold abatement through the 30,000 sqft area as well as disposal of all debris at that site. The Government also requests that interested parties provide pricing for removal for mold in the HVAC system of that building as an option. The contract duration will be 60 calendar days after notice to proceed to include inspection and punch list. This project is set aside 100% for Small Businesses. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 238918, with a small business size standard of $19,000,000. The magnitude of construction is between $100,000 and $500,000. A site visit will be held 2 July 2024 at 0900 at Pease ANGB. Scope: This work statement includes all work necessary to support the required effort, equipment, and supplies needed (description below) to remediate mold and contaminated surfaces and items within the footprint of the identified area on the supplied plan inside building 254 Aircraft Maintenance, located at the NHANG, Pease ANGB, Newington, NH 03801. 1.1.1 Objectives: Provide Demolition, Debris Removal, Duct Cleaning and Mold Remediation 1.2 Background: Building 254 at the NHANG has a requirement for demolition, debris removal, mold remediation, and cleaning of HVAC duct and interior surfaces. The facility was tested in 2024 for mold by an independent laboratory. The presence of mold was confirmed throughout the facility. The facility was tested for RCRA 7 metals contamination in 2019, by the same laboratory. The reports will be supplied to the contract awardee. Steps were taken to mitigate the spread of mold through dehumidification and isolating areas affected by mold growth. The facility is primarily unoccupied and will be throughout the term of this effort. Aircraft Maintenance administration and operations are being run elsewhere on the installation. The main hangar facility is still operational and is not in the scope of this PWS. The scope of work is necessary to enable proper operation and continued use of the main aircraft maintenance facility. This facility and the occupants are crucial to the operation of the Pease International Airport and NHANG flying operations.
