Reference Number 0000355047 The City is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors to provide automatic gate inspection, maintenance and repair services for various City facilities which includes twice yearly inspections and preventive maintenance, as well as as-needed repairs for the City's automatic gates. The length of this Agreement shall be for two (2) years beginning on July 17, 2024, through June 30, 2026. The Agreement can be extended by a maximum of three (3) one-year terms. Award of the Agreement and any extensions are subject to City Council appropriation of funds. The maximum length of the Agreement can be up to five (5) years. Each renewal period, the Contractor's costs shall be adjusted based on the annual change in the previous calendar year's Consumer Price Index for the San Diego area (All Urban Consumers CPI-U) or 5%, whichever is less. The first adjustment would occur no earlier than July 1, 2026. * The City reserves the right, after opening proposals, to reject any or all proposals, to accept or reject any one or more items of a proposal and to waive any informality in the proposal.
