Mobilization/ demobilization, constructions taking, traffic control system, signage, preparation and implementation of a storm water pollution prevention plan and rain event action plan, contractor supplied biologist, invasive species control, temporary high visibility fencing, tree removal, clearing and grubbing, roadway excavation, embankment, decorative boulders, furniture, replacement planting and plant establishment work, decomposed granite, metal edging, bioretention pond, erosion control products, asphalt/ concrete demolition, class 2 aggregate base, hot mix asphalt, structural concrete, finish bar reinforcing steel, 12" and 18" storm drain piping (includes excavation, bedding, laying, & backfill), 12" and 18" automatic drainage gates, culvert removal, retaining wall, guardrails, handrailing's, minor concrete(curb, sidewalk, and curb ramp). The general prevailing wage rates applicable to the Work are set by the State Director of DIR State of California under Labor Code Section 1771.4. PROJECT DESCRIPTION The project includes all work included in the Plans, General Provisions, Technical Specifications, Standard Plans and Standard Specifications, to produce a complete and functional project, as determined by the City of Rio Dell. B. SCOPE OF WORK Contractor shall provide all materials, supervision, labor, equipment and supplies for construction of the Eel River Trail Project. The project includes but is not limited to: removal of trees, removal of pampas grass, clearing and grubbing, roadway and trail excavation, structure excavation, removal of existing asphalt pavement, removal of drainage facilities; and the placement/construction of embankments, aggregate base material, hot mix asphalt pavement, structural concrete, minor concrete, drainage improvements, rock slope protection, stabilized decomposed granite, detectable warning surfaces, decorative boulders, various furniture, guardrails, handrails, fencing, signage, striping, bioretention area, tree planting, reseeding and slope stabilization, landscape planting and temporary facilities. One bid alternative is proposed for this project which includes construction of a concrete ramp structure, stairs, railings, detectable warning surface, furniture and signage. The bid alternative work also includes all incidental work to the ramp such as clearing and grubbing, excavation, embankment, aggregate base and all labor and materials. C.
