Renovation and addition to a medical facility in Juneau, Alaska. Working plans call for the addition of a medical facility; and for the renovation of a medical facility.
As of October 22, 2025, this project has not started yet started construction. The architect and general contractor have both been identified. Project Description: The BRH ED Addition and Renovation Project (the Project) consists of a 1,200 square foot addition to an existing Emergency Department, and 8,000 square feet of renovation space. 4,000 square feet of the renovation will be a total demolition and build back, while the remaining 4,000 square feet will consist of finish upgrades. Construction phasing will have to be carefully coordinated with the Bartlett Emergency Department and Facilities Staff, Capital City Fire and Rescue (CCFR), and the design team, as full operations will need to be maintained during construction. Access to the building site and to the ED will need to be coordinated.
