Grit & Grease Removal System Refurbishment - New Philadelphia Wastewater Treatment Plant The project consists of refurbishing New Philadelphia's WWTP Grit & Grease Removal System as specified. The successful bidder scope of work should include: all labor, parts, shipping, arranging, scheduling and equipment re-commissioning service, all necessary equipment, tools, all parts should be new, all labor performed should be by a qualified factory trained personnel. Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check in the amount of 5% of the amount bid or a bid bond in the amount of 100% of the amount bid. Bid bonds provided from this contract shall be underwritten by a surety that is licensed by the State of Ohio superintendence of insurance to execute such bond in the state. All bonds shall affirmatively state on their face that the surety is authorized to execute bonds in the state and that liability incurred is within the limits of Section 3929.02 of the Ohio Revised Code. The bid bond shall be made payable to the City of New Philadelphia and shall serve as a guarantee that in the event the proposal is accepted and a contract is awarded to the successful bidder, the contract will be executed by the bidder from the bond submitted with the bid. Each proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Tuscarawas County, Ohio as determined by the Ohio Department of Commerce, Bureau of Wage and Hour Administration (614.644.2239). Bids shall be subject to the condition that the right is reserved to hold bids for a period not longer than 60 days after date of opening and to award at any time during that period.
