The Ketchikan Gateway Borough (Borough) is soliciting sealed bids from qualified individuals, firms, or companies for: Borough Transit Facility Slab Repairs The materials, labor and management of construction to carry out construction of the following: Work includes demolition and disposal of the existing concrete slab, dig a total of four test holes as directed to allow the Borough Engineer to inspect the subgrade material for suitability of re-use. Place D-1 base rock and compact, install vapor retarder, reinforcing bars, and 8-inch concrete slab sloping to new trench drain. Add sump, sump pump and connection to an existing drain line. Install epoxy coating on new concrete slab. The work should be staged to allow at least one maintenance bay to remain operational at all times during the work. The contractor is to obtain and pay for all building permits required for the project. Bids from unregistered bidders will not be accepted.
