The services will consist of the collection and disposal of solid waste and recyclables from all properties within the Town of Geddes, exclusive of the Village of Solvay. The service agreement will commence January I, 2025 and continue until midnight, December 31,2029. No Bidder may withdraw his Bid within forty-five (45) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Each Proposal shall be accompanied by an acceptance form of Bid Security in the amount of $25,000.00, payable to the TOWN OF GEDDES as a guaranty that if the Proposal is accepted, the Bidder will execute the Contract within ten (10) days after the Award of the Contract. Each bid shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name of the Project, Name of the Bidder, and the date and time of the bid opening. Any questions regarding the Bid must be submitted in writing and directed to Gregory Sgromo, P.E. via email to gsgromo@dunnandsgromo.com no later than May 7, 2024, 2024. Bidders should note that this is a prevailing wage rate job in accordance with the New York State prevailing wage schedule. OWNER'S RIGHTS RESERVED The Town Board of the Town of Geddes, hereinafter called the Owner, reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals; and to waive any formality or technicality in any Proposal, in the interest of the Owner.
